Honestly, the trail isn't really much fun. The mileage was 18.4 according to the Garmin. The first four miles are super steep and covered with roots. I'm an intermediate level rider and I had to hike-a-bike about half of the first four miles. After the first four miles, it's mostly rolling hills with the occasional short, punchy climb, a few of which are too difficult for the average rider. The trail was quite muddy in spots, almost having to slug through 1/4 mile of it at a time. The long bridges were cool to ride, and the scenery was nice, but not worth the two hour drive in my opinion. Might as well drive the extra 30 minutes and ride Kincaid instead. That being said, it seems like it would be a great place to camp and/or go hiking for a day.
