Review: Great trail. Fairly off the beaten path but open to horses and it is evident on the trail. Plenty of opportunity for cardio training. trail is fairly wide with minimal obstacles, but there are some loose rocks and roots throughout, generally covered by over growth. Trail has signs and markers throughout and is easy to follow. Intermediate level rider will have a great time, a beginner will be able to complete but will have to work for it. Rode this trail August 2016.

Review: biked from veterans lake to Arbuckle lake through this trail, and as of today its pretty overgrown in places, which cover the ruts and rough places. Not super exciting, a bunch of small loose rock on some climbs some big loose rocks on the downhill sections so it was hard to get and/or maintain speed. about 3/4 of the way to Arbuckle lake the trail got pretty confusing due to the fact there was so much rain recently and a bunch of fallen over trees. So not very exciting but still an okay ride.

Review: Rode this trail Dec 6th, 2012. Trail was in very good condition. 60% double track, 25% Single Track, 15% Gravel Road. It has been a dry year, so damage from horses has been light, but there is loose rock on some of the short climbs. This trail is not real exciting, but does have a few fun spots. The park is pretty nice, so this would be worth a ride if you were already in the area, but probably not for a special trip. I built a strava segment you can explore on strava. I rode clockwise and would probably recommend that direction. The trail is very wide, so riding 2 abreast is possible for a large portion of the trail. Good for group rides....

Review: This "trail" is no trail at all. It is almost completely unmarked. Even if it was, when we tried to ride (find) it, there were some brush cutters cutting down trees, limbs and brush who just littered any semblance of the trail with their cuttings. A disaster - don't waste your time like we did (particularly in the 100+ degree heat in August, 2010).

Similar Trail: Try going to Lake McMurty in Stillwater - we did the Orange Loop - good, twisty, singletrack and an actual trail.

Review: I was disappointed with the condition of the trail here. It looked like it might have some potential to be a decent biking trail. i went out with my wife to try to get some experience on some easy trails. she was frustrated within minutes of being there. there was alot of over growth and (i did read the p*** warning) there was alot of horse p*** out there. The overgrowth wouldnt have been so bad but there was alot of large thorns and the grasses hid alot of rutted areas. this trail could be really good with some basic trail maintence. i would not go back.
