Got a taste for slickrock in Arizona and was thrilled to find a little in my own home state. I was surprised at how much of it was rideable for me at my intermediate level. I enjoyed it so much that I had to ride down twice! (I came up Big Rock the 1st time; it also has nice views.)
I think the easier/less scary way to ride it is to climb the South slope, which is much steeper than the Eastern part and probably will entail a bit of hiking. Enjoy the views and explore the peak a bit before heading down the Eastern slope.
It's a little difficult to locate the trail in places because it's bare rock, but it's also hard to get too lost. Keep your eye out for the little rock cairns which mark the trail!
