Trail Description
About this trail
Recommend clockwise direction first. Trail will start with a good warm up winding through a sweet gum maze. then will go through a nice hard wood section with good elevation changes. There is a well built bridge to cross at the creek bottom then work your way up through an abundance of cedars to the far side. Major fun coming down off the hill through cedars dropping off the ridge with optional air time down to the bottom careening left then going toward the front of the property for the last half mile of trail with a few terraces for variety. Mile and yellow paint markers both directions, walking and running is encouraged as well. Trail is five feet wide in most places with only a few exceptions. Good trail for wet conditions. Open 7 days a week.

Review: Great trail for beginners. Took my 9yo and he enjoyed it. There are a few sections that are somewhat technical. Great jump ramp in the first 1/3.

Review: Great for a little workout but definitely needs some maintenance. I'm in the area working so I want to tryout all the local trails.

Review: Rode this trail mid-day and it was great! If you're just passing through, it's proximity to the interstate couldn't be better. The trail was very easy to find and there was good signage throughout. There are 4 or 5 downhill spots where you can get decent speed but overall it's fairly flat. It's a bit rooty in places which kills your momentum on a hard-tail but not horrible. One word of caution, keep an eye out for thorn branches, overhead and on the ground. To whoever keeps this trail clear, thanks. Definitely worth the detour.

Review: My wife and I rode this trail yesterday. We rode ccw, and the first mile was extremely beginner (hardly any elevation change and 5 feet wide flat trail). The second mile had a few fun downhills and a small bridge over a wet weather creek. The third mile was not passable. At approximately 2.2 we found ourselves waist deep in briers and thorns. With a little TLC this trail could be quite fun and great for families, but we won't be making the trip to Cedar Ridge again any time soon. If you were looking for a short ride, you could easily ride the first two miles and pull over to the church to avoid that last overgrown stretch.

Review: Rode here yesterday for the first time. Not sure but I think a church has been built on part of this trail so that is where you can park and pick up the trail behind it. It was wet and covered withleaves and most of the turns were off camber or flat so keeping speed up was hard. There are some jumps here and there but in weird places with no landing area or on a hill apex. It is a decent trail but I feel its mostly used by cc trail runners for practice, but if some bikers used it and carved in some turns it could be really nice for the area as there is nothing else in Forsyth to ride

Review: Good beginner trail, brought my whole family...wife, 13 yr old, 10 yr old, 8 yr old, and 5 yr old (she rode on the back of my MTB with a child carrier seat). Had a good time; looked like some of the trail had recently been groomed/cut as there were some areas where there were vegetation stobs left over from recent mowing or bushhogging.

Review: beginner trail with no technical sections what so ever. Would be a good place to take someone that is new to biking and let them get the feel for a starter trail.

Review: Fun little trail. As stated it is mostly 5 feet wide and kept open with a 5 foot scraper blade. Actually makes for an interesting trail as you have multiple line choices, can lean as far as you want, and hit the ramps or not. 15:30 and tread was still soft, would be a screaming fast trail if there was enough traffic to pack down a good line.
