Trail Description
About this trail
This trail is maintained by C.L.I.M.B. (Concerned Long Island Mountain Bikers) and as such has some fun features built in. If you stick to the blue square runs it should be pretty sedated but the black diamond loops add some fun hills, wooden features and small drop offs. Being on LI you don't feel very remote but it's definitely a nice change-up from Stillwell Woods.

Review: Well-marked trails, not much in the way of tech or elevation, it is Long Island after all, but does have a few short climbs and descents. The place drains really well, too.. there was lots of standing water in the parking lot from rain the day before, but the trails were fairly dry (some water collecting on the inside of berms). You're going to run into more non-bikers (hikers and horses) on this trail than Glacier due to the campground right there.

Review: Fast, flowey, and fun. Blue can be ridden by anyone on any bike with wide enough tires. Blacks are true mountain bike trails but almost zero technical sections. When raining this park turns into one long puddle.

Review: This was the second trail I ever rode and it was really fun. Cathedral Pines is very easy and has almost no technical areas. Just a fun ride with many turns and only a few up-hills. Great scenery, moderate paced and relaxed ride.
