Trail Description
About this trail
These trails are divided into three sections, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
The beginner section is pretty much prairie riding. It was good for a warm up, but
I wouldn't do it for anything else.

The intermediate section is tight and twisty, with only a few places to drop the
hammer. There are a couple of fun ladder features and some short but steep
climbs. It's a great section to work on your cornering skills, as some of the turns
are off camber. Because this trail is fairly new, it's easy to wash out if you let your
front wheel wander too far from the beaten path.

The short expert section takes the best elements from the intermediate section
and dials them way up. There are a couple of steep descents and techy climbs.
There is narrow hillside riding. There is also one small air that can sneak up on
the unsuspecting. The most memorable and unique features are the 8-10' tall
super steep bumps that rise up from nowhere. occasionally these features stand
solo, but often are grouped together. The trail occasionally rides straight over
them, but often seems to be changing direction on these things. All in all, very
fun. If you are in the area and looking for something more techy than the Kettle,
come check these trails out. They will only improve as more people ride them.

One last note, ride with caution your first loop, there is one turn that would really
suck to miss.

Review: Pretty good trail system that has trails for all levels. I believe these trails are open year round and allow fat biking in the winter as well. You can get a daily pass for $10 or a yearly pass for $40. The trails stay open even after rainfall, but I found out the hard way that this doesn't mean you should ride the intermediate / difficult sections. Huge mud pits that require walking and made it less fun. Still, if they were dry they provided some surprisingly challenging climbs and fun descents. I bought an annual pass as this trail system stays open year round and allows for riding when other places stay closed.

If it is your first time riding here, make sure to arrive during the operating hours posted on the Canopy Tours website to check in and sign a waiver. If you are unsure whether or not you will want to spring for the yearly pass, you can try out the trails for the daily rate and upgrade to a yearly your next time out.

Review: Absolutely beautiful location. The trails were a bit overgrown, however they were cutting in the process of cutting them back while I was there. Very fun trails and a great staff.

Review: I've been coming here for years. Always enjoy friendly people who run the canopy tours. The trails have some challenging sections, steep climbs, and fast twitchy single track. Although was there over the weekend and some sections were a little overgrown and needed some tlc.

Review: This trail system is fairly straight forward and not too difficult. There were a few down trees and one was blocking what could have been a fun section so that was disappointing. The climbs are very manageable and not to demanding, the downhills are nice and flowing and allow some decent speed. I only but the intermediate trail since I was riding with a first timer. The cost is ten dollars which I didn't mind paying to try a new trail. The only thing is that I would have expected a little bit better maintenance. The staff there is really friendly and helpful and I would go back just because of that, they went above and beyond what I would have expected. Overall the only thing I would change would be the maintenance to the trails.

Review: One of the worst trails I have ridden. Not worth the $10 per person. Not a intermediate trail, mostly beginner.

Review: Great place to ride singletrack. They have 3 loops, beginner, intermediate and advanced. All of which are about three miles long.

It is entirely singletrack with very little smoother areas. Unlike kettle moraine which has the areas of singletrack.

Probably more technical than kettle foe that very reason

Also only cost 5 dollars
