It is what it is. I was at Osan for three years and this is the best option for anyone on base without a car. All entrances are rocky and steep, but once you're up there it flows pretty well; just beware of all the hikers... they will not yield. From west to east about 1/3 of the way in the trail splits and if you head south you'll find the best Burak-san has to offer... some risky on-the-cliff singletrack. Keep going and you'll eventually get to a nice but short DH section and a bridge that crosses a freeway. Cross it and you'll find yourself in Deokak-san which is much, much less populated, a lot more technical, about 5x the length of Burak-san, and forms a loop that will take you back to base via Burak-san. It can easily take 2 hours for a full loop through both, but if you have the legs it's worth it.
