Trail starts out immediately at 12-22%grade even up to 88% for 1st 0.25 mi ,then elevated out to 8-12% as more rocks appear. At one mile a 2.6 mi loop begins Going counterclockwise it descends on the best portion of the ride crossing Brown's creek before a very difficult climb/ walk up over scree and football size rocks all at 8-12%grade. Experts could go clockwise and ride the tough rocks descending. Or one could ride the loop both directions for a 7 mi trip
