Trail Description
About this trail
there is an ever growing and evolving network of single track in the park. Many people come here and ride the hiking paths and the old towpaths. If you cannot find the good stuff, anyone you might see on a mountain bike should be able to put you in the right direction. Some trails here are more technical than others, nothing too extreme, while others are nice flowing single track. You will find rocks, roots, mud, dirt, uphill, downhill, flats, basically everything that isn't big mountain downhill riding.

Review: Love this park! Mostly because it offers several different micro-enviroments. Between entrance road & creek there is a flat, lazy, twisty trail meandering through a beautiful 'fern field' (sparce trees, ground covered in ferns). Exploring rest of park will bring you through a beautiful swamp area (sidewalk goes throug there), some wide, flowy, hiking trails with plenty of choices to get off onto tighter singletrack. Woods area is bisected by an open powerline area with a scenic overlook over a cliff. There are somewhat-difficult (lots of roots) trails around lake. There is a short, very scenic, elevated road (heading towards golf course) with sharp drops off either side looking far down to pond\lake on each side. Trails dry very quickly. A day after hard rains, it's likely you will only find one spot with puddles.

Review: A little of everything. except big anything. Tow path-easy, ST between Tow Path and river is beginner, but is so sweet everyone should ride it. most everything else is intermediate varying width ST. The one thing you will not find here is buffed trail, it's all roots, and rock. Overall a good way to spend a few hours .Lots of scenic views along the lake.
