About this trail
This trial offers an amazing escape from the city life! Beautiful green hills and plush forests! A great trail to ride all day or for some after work relaxation. Mix's of fast downhills, twisty stuff & a good climb here and there. Bowmore takes advantage of all the different terrain

Tip. there's a nice downhill section on the northern loop (run it clockwise)

Review: I was a little suspect of the list order as I've been to most of these places and thought Joyride being in 4th place was a misnomer. However, the only reason I went to Bowmore was it was 12th on the list and in comparison to Bayview & Stouffville (9th place) I thought this would be a great place to ride. I did all of the single track twice and was lucky to eke out 10km. Nonetheless, after seeing Dagmar( a MTB Playground) in 21st place should have red flagged the list order immediately.

Review: Thanks for the feedback guys.... I also agree we need to step up as a unit and the trail will be one of the best in the area. I live up the street and this is the time of year we could really make a difference... I'll give out my email so feel free to contact me and maybe we can organize a clean up day: jeffwalms@gmail.com... Looking forward to meeting a few of you riders out there this year

Review: Good fun close to home! These trails have great potential if more volunteers will only step forward and use initiative to develop them. Many ride here but only very few build bridges and fun features - at their own expense and precious limited free time. About 6 years ago some good 24" wide bridges were built that really opened up these trails for hiking & biking to everyone in the whole community to enjoy. Some more are needed and many older ones need replacing Come guys take a shovel along and build a dirt feature when & where you feel it can enhance the trail. Use your imagination!! Be sure it is safe and not too difficult so no one can get hurt. No official maintenance body exists that I know of for the dirt trails, so it is up to us trail users ourselves to make it better and nicer. In the spring many fallen branches usually need removing. Please lets do our part - every little bit helps!

Review: A lot of fun. mix of paved (on the outskirts) to tight singletrack in the interior. It looks like a good flowing trail but I was too busy exploring all the side trails. I've been there 3 times so far... will return for sure.

Review: Moved to Newmarket and found this little gem a 3 min ride from my house. Still getting to know my way around but for the most part it has solid flow, bridges to cross streams, easy climbs and easy/fun decents. Whoever takes care of this place, thank you so much. It is a perfect place to take my wife as she learns the sport or for a quick spin before/after work. I would give this place a beginner difficulty if it werent for the skinnys scattered throughout. It is like king (centennial trails) except it covers more ground and is slightly less maintained. A bit less flowy than king as well. Both great beginner spots. Please keep us posted for trail maintenance days so we can lend a hand. Cheers
