Review: Good Trail! I could tell someone has been taking care of it - limbs and logs freshly-cut and moved out of the trail in several places. I'm an lower-intermediate rider and found climbs pretty challenging (had to stop and walk a couple). It was 99 degrees with 49% humidity when I rode - might do a little better when it cools down.

Review: Love this trail. It offers a bit of everything. Great flowy areas and just the right amount of tech.

Review: Awesome Singletrack system. There are several really nice flowing downhill areas that's rare in LA. Can't wait for another ride there.

Review: Ran this trail today, most parts would have been a blast on the bike. The section I ran was a 2.1 mile section, only complaint was some vegetation across the trail in places, and many came with spiderwebs stretched across the trail, luckily I did not pick up any hitchhikers. Challenging run, slowed me from my usual 8:30-9:30 a mile to near 14:00! Climbs, switchbacks, drops, roots, some natural obstacles...can't wait to ride it!

Review: I'm giving this a 3 for the time being, only because of the horrible damage that I assume came from the bad floods last year. there are very large sections of the backhalf loop that are completly unridable due to flood out areas where logs and some trees have wash up and destroyed the trail. there was complete sections that I could barley walk my bike through, I only found my way due to the markers on the tree...which by the way is a postive aspect of this trail system, very well marked now (wasn't marked very well last time I was here in 2014). the front half is very fun, but I disagree with everyone elses review and I think Monkey Trail is better.
if this back half gets fixed, and normal trail maint gets all the fallen trees off the trail, this trail will be back on par with the Monkey Trail

Review: Rode this for the first time today. Favorite trail in the region. Much better than Monkey Trail. Some nice jumps while going downhill, followed by rooty sections. Jumped anything and everything possible. Nice flow and enjoyed the rocky sections and loose rock/gravel feel. Forget your in Louisiana, not bad at all... It's worth the time if you're in the area.

Review: Just went this morning, 6-7 large total trees down over the trail because of the storm last night. Trail was rideable, just had to get off your bike to climb over the trees. Someone with permission to use a chainsaw in the park needs to do some cutting. Other than that it was a good ride, as usual.

Review: Rode this 2 days ago, in good condition, trail was clear and fast except for 1 large tree that fell during the wind storm a few days ago, you will have to get off to get over it. Looks like they cleared some smaller trees from the trail making it a little more open. Over all good trail, lots of fun

Review: Broke my collarbone out here. You guys really shouldn't have the cable wires hanging down by the levee.

Review: Fun Trail, try to get out there every weekend at least once to try to improve my time on the front trail, lots of uphill on the middle trail and the back trail can be very technical in places, overall trail is well maintained, have been riding here every weekend since March 2013. Mosquitoes can get kind of big and thick, especially on the back trail, But we made them earn their meal.
