Trail Description
About this trail
From the Blue Mountain website:

Blue Mountain Bike Park is back, offering lift services, new & old challenges and varied terrain for everyone from hardcore downhillers looking to improve their skills to downhill beginners looking to learn and grow! And speaking of improvement, Blue is adding new trails, loops and a unique Progression Drop Zone and Skills Area. Instruction, rentals and race events are also available, making Blue Mountain your one-stop destination for all things mountain biking, all season long!

Blue mountain offers a total of 19 downhill mountain biking trails, opening in May and closing in early November. The trails vary from beginner to expert downhill. If you are a beginner at downhill mountain biking, I would recommend this park, as it has more gradual downhill trails. Review: Ton of fun- rollers, jumps, drops, gnar, berms, steep, flow- has it all. Highly recommend. I gave this an advanced rating because, while there are expert trails, an intermediate to advanced rider will find trails here to do and I don't want to scare the intermediate rider off. There is a lot of gnar, mostly rock, mostly shale. And it gets loose when dry, really loose. A lot of turns, many rather tight, but most bermed, but be on your game because of that loose. It gets steeper, gnarlier and bigger jumps and drops as you go up the color rankings. Drops all well marked, all of them that I came across also had ride arounds. Drops in blues totally doable by intermediate to advanced riders. Please don't take a bike with a steep headtube or a hardtail here unless you're just going to stay on green, and even then it's questionable. They rent full downhill bikes- if you wanna have a safe, enjoyable time and don't have your own full squish bike, rent one. It's worth it. I did it on my Santa Cruz Bronson V3- a 150/160 trail bike with 65 degree HT angle and am an intermediate to advanced rider. I would not recommend this place on much lesser of a bike unless you really are an expert.

Review: It was the most fun I've ever had some of the trails were really difficult some were only a little bit challenging I definitely recommend getting a guide to go with for a few runs and if you don't have a full suspension bike I would also recommend renting a bike from them you get all of the pads you need too

Review: Great park close to NYC and Philly, the green trails are a little more on the steep/ technical side than some of the other parks I've been to so keep that in mind. Lots of loose shale but my tires survived several runs. Some shop/ bar at the base. Ewok Village is a fun jump line near the end of Boulevard.
