Rider questions

Q: How/where do you access this trail?
A: Find black bridge first: either go to the end of stanley ave in chatham, turn left (on foot or pedal) at the train tracks. You will come to the train bridge. Before you reach the bridge you can enter the trails by going over the rails and down the little hill. I wouldnt even bring my bike there until it is really dry. It is also a nice place for walking, or you can go from grand ave east, there is a parking area for some unknown building which you can access the railway from. You should be able to see Black Bridge on google maps Enjoy!

... The trail was crippled by scrapers collecting the metal that was left there after the shipping yards closed... The trail along the river is eroding quickly making it dangerous. This trail is almost gone... 😞

Nice short trail. Has many beautiful views of Thames river. Not too difficult but fun if you do if you do it with some speed. Width varies as you go. Not maintained.
