If I could give BSF a true rating, it would be a 6/5. The mountain bike trails (not the hiking ones) are not too difficult, but they are not too easy either. It has a nice overlook of Route 3, and up north there is a fitness trail and kids' playground. The MTB trails have mostly sharp turns, so you are rarely riding a straight line. Most of the rocks are ride able for riders with at least some experience, but some are very large and meant only for advanced riders because of their slope and height. The hills are decent, but a couple hills have some nice downhill and uphill sections, especially with the smooth turns and gnarly rocks. I would say that it's a good trail for a novice level rider to start off with, and for any other level rider - not including beginner/newbie - to enjoy at their leisure. If you enjoy BSF, check out Russell Mill Town Forest for a bit of a bigger challenge.
