Trail Q&A
Rider Questions

1

Q: Track direction -Guest

A: There are signs at the entry and exit of each section. The trails are set up for bike traffic to be opposite foot traffic and each end of the section indicate whether it is the entry point for either bike or foot. On the map, the A entry point is for bikes and the B is for foot traffic.

Review: I am a beginer and this trail was an absolute blast. I highly recommend this place. The trail map at the park could be a little more clear on how it works.

Review: Definitely closer to basic than intermediate, but flows well enough that you can work as hard as you want to. The direction and markings on the trail are well done except at a few spots where it wasn't clear (using trail names instead of marker numbers and the newer sections did not have clear travel directions posted).

There are a lot of connectors and other trail crossings that keep you from getting into a sustained flow, but they are well marked and easy to follow.

Safety wise, it is designed for foot traffic to go opposite bike traffic and there aren't really any blind corners. Also all of the trail intersections are marked with good signage at the trails and as you approach.

Review: Very flowy trail. Closer to basic than intermediate. However, the dusty, hard-packed surface means high-speed cornering can be tricky. No obstacles but several nice man-made bridges. We drove approx. 90 minutes from Erie to ride the trail and it was worth the trip for a nice recovery ride.

Review: Great easy riding trail, nothing too technical. A few bridges and a few decent climbs but nothing you can't have the girlfriend out for!

Review: Not a bad trail, just not that challenging. The flow can be pretty good here if you start in the right area. ALWAYS take every left turn here, otherwise it is easy to get lost.

Review: This is a series of short, singletrack trails with good flow and very little technical challenge. There isn't a ton of elevation change, but the trail designers made good use of what is there. The trails are well marked, but the general layout can be confusing. Fortunately, there are maps at some of the trailheads to help you regain your bearings. Since the trails are short and tech free, this is a great place to take the whole family mountain biking. If you're a more advanced rider, well, just ride faster!

Review: Nice trail with some elevation changes, nonetheless I found it tricky to find the trails and connect them. Nothing too technical, beginner friendly.
