Trail Description
About this trail
Bear Paw is generally used as the initial grunt up from the trailhead to reach the rest of the trail system. It is pretty steep singletrack and climbs unrelentingly for over a mile, leading to.... more climbing. Get your climbing shoes on!

Review: It's a steady climb to the trail from the WW Center, but the climbing eases off if Bear Paw is ridden CCW. This route is far easier than climbing West Fork or Thunder Rock.

Review: Up, up, and more up. Used as a post-thanksgiving reality check ride ;) steep and technical in sections, be aware for hikers, especially as leaving the whitewater center, seems to get pretty heavy foot traffic in both directions. Great start to a great trail system!!

Review: Stiff climb, but as fast as you want back to the trail head.
