Review: Rode it today from bottom - started at Centennial Visitor Center, rode 14 or so miles up FS 338 and 336. Then down FS 396 and 396A to Bear Lake. Then down old road/trail to connect to Libby Creek Trail, Barber Lake Trail, the little back trail to the Visitor Center and voila! Whole ride is about 25 miles.

Review: Road in to Bear lake last weekend. It is a fast flow with some rock and loose dirt and gravel most of the way to the lake. After you cross the creek it gets a little muddy for a couple hundred yards. Once you get to the lake take some time to soak in the view. It is awesome. 3.5 miles in and I got in there in about 20 minutes. All downhill on a four wheel drive road on the way in. The ride out was quite a bit longer but all ridable, Took about an hour out without stopping. A fast fun ride in and a good workout coming back out.
