The trails lie in a heavily forested 15 square mile (40 square kilometers) area. The area is bounded on the west by Baruun Salaa Road, on the east by the upper east fork of Zuun Salaa, and on the north by Guntruu Road. The southern most extent of the area is just a little south of where the two forks of the Zuun Salaa join.
It's a beautiful area. The trails are both organic and hard packed. There is a lot of old two track jeep trails, some singletrack, and some current 4x4 roads. There are trails everywhere, maybe upwards of 50 km of trail.
Though the trails seem a bit random, they are quite well connected, but you do need a "sat" image or GPS to find yourself at times or find the next trail you want to connect to. So much to explore. Lots of fun riding. The climbs and descents are not so difficult for Mongolia, about 300 - 800 feet (100-250m).
