Review: Awesome trail. There are some short gnarly climbs at the beginning and end but there are so many good sections. The trail snakes through the woods and there is a lot of fun narrow single track sections. There are 3 loop options that you can use to shorten the trail. Really good mix to do out at Rope is Avalanche, Raceway, and Turbine. IMO Rope Mill is the best trail system in the metro area.

Review: This is a really fun trail to ride. Only a couple of cons but, very minor ones at that. There could be better signage nearby the CW and CCW entrances. After you make the initial climb and get your heart rate jumping off the scales this trail has some fun, fast, yet quick flows. Very challenging due to being very narrow at times and some good rocky, rooty parts back on Loop 2.

Review: Tight, twisty and fun! A little bit of climbing, especially at the beginning. Nice scenery in the woods. A few technical challenges with rocks and roots, but nothing too bad.

Review: This is a local loop that I've ridden a lot. When I first started riding this loop I was not impressed, because I didn't think it flowed well. However, this trail grew on me after a few more rides, and now I love it. It keeps your heart rate up, has good technical features, and it does flow once you know where to step on it. I also think it is one of the best single speed trails there is, and that is mostly what I ride on it. It's defiantly a trial that you have to ride a few times to appreciate it. Couple it with Explorer and the new Mill trails and you can get a nice 14 mile ride in.

Similar Trail: Vickery Creek when it was still legal

Review: The Avalanche trail consists of numerous steep ups and downs and swooping turns. All around it's a decent trail... I just didn't think it was that impressive.

Review: Very well built and well marked trail. Starting counter clockwise, there is a short but quite steep climb out of the parking lot.

The trail undulates a lot. There are no real flat sections to speak of. You're either going up or down, over and over. Not too much in the way of technical features apart from a couple tricky rock gardens.

If you blended the Van Michael Trail and the Dwelling loop from Blankets Creek, then compressed the scale, you'd get the Avalanche Trail.

It's very close to Blankets Creek so you can ride each trail system to make a big day.
