Review: There are actually a number of trails through out William A Switzer Park. A favorite for hikers, cross country skiers and mtb / fat bike enthusiasts is Joachim Trail. It starts across from Jarvis Lake not far from the entrance to the campground and can be done as an out and back to the Black Cat Ranch or do as a loop. There is an old airplane on the route that is used as training for search and rescue. The trail is good one for beginners as it is fairly flat.
