Review: What a great Kananaskis trail just off Highway 40. The first 6km of this trail is double track with moderate steady climbing. At which point from 6km-7.5 km the trail narrows and becomes increasingly steeper as you progress. From 7.5-8.2km the trail becomes singletrack with roots and rocks for fun but tough climbing. The next 800m to the peak is quite difficult and will really test your balance skills in a few spots. The descent for 2km is truly awesome, much the same if what you just finished climbing (roots, rocks and great riding.
The trail eases off once you reach the riverbed rock crossings and you get into some fun tight singletrack.
You will pop out on hwy 40 and finish the ride off On the road 5.6km back to your starting point.
