Review: Too much of the trail is simply unrideable for it to be worth ever going back--easily half. The half that was good was good, but again, not worth making the trip, with locations such as Hodges so close by. I wouldn't even enjoy hiking some of it as it was so overgrown and unkempt.

Review: I have lived a few yards from Buffumville for years. When I decided to try mtb'ing this was the first place I went. These trails are really a mixed bag. The southeast side is extremely technical. I couldn't imagine riding cleanly through the whole thing, but there are a bunch of Strava segments there so I guess some people can. The southwest side is really nice. There are steep climbs, fast descents, and a few rock gardens. It is a bit of a challenge for a beginner, but it is very rideable in general. The whole northern section is fairly easy, and gives you a nice view of the water pretty much the whole way.
