This shop... I don't even know what to say. You shouldn't buy one bike from them, you should buy two bikes from them.

They very were always patient, diligent, and friendly. They worked with me to get me on a Small Norco Fluid FS. afaik it was the only new, small, squish bike available in the state.

I called every bike shop between Blacksburg and Richmond, VA, and then every shop between Richmond and DC. This shop stood out. They really wanted to help, and I never felt like an inconvenience. I probably called Bikes Unlimited 8 or 10 times, and every single time I called they were patient and never rushed me. They are genuinely happy to help, and this is rare.

When I arrived and took a short test ride, I was encouraged to go take a longer test ride so I could really see how the bike felt. They directed me to some singletrack and encouraged me to actually ride and test the bike. This shop is about 2 hours away from my house and I honestly believe that it is worth the drive. When I want to buy another bike Bikes Unlimited will be my first call. I cannot give a higher recommendation, they are stellar.

Trek and Giant. John, the owner, is the best small business owner in Lynchburg. Not just out to make a buck, loves bikes and loves people.

My favorite LBS. Staff is very helpful and knowledgable. No longer located at this address they now have a shop in downtown Lynchburg and on Enterprise Dr.
