This lube is pretty good all around, but you have to shake it up every time you apply and try not to get it on stuff that you don't want to turn white and greasy...

    Pros
Lasts, inexpensive, good sized bottle, easy application

    Cons
    White stains

I just started using this one this past Summer. For the most part, the conditions here are dry/packed. A little dusty in areas, but never really ride in mud or wet conditions. I like this stuff. I think I'm going to pick up another once this container is empty.

    Pros
    Works great
    Pretty simple to use
    Price

    Cons
It's messy, but aren't they all

I've been using this since 1997. It's always worked well for my bikes in just about every condition I've ridden in.

    Pros
    Keeps things moving.

    Cons
A tad messy, but what lube isn't?

I have used this lube for over a year now and love it! Would definitely use the White Lightning Line up. Uploaded to look of this product.

    Pros
Great lube, keeps chain clean, love it!

    Cons
Of course after a while it will hold some dirt, but it's time to clean the chain at that point anyway. Not really a con, I think. None here.

I'm not normally a fan of wax lubes but this does work decently. Not sure how much it "self cleans" but it did keep my chain quiet for a good 100 miles or so in between applications. If it didn't have the waxy buildup I'd be a fan.

    Pros
    Lubes well.

    Cons
Leaves wax buildup on chain that eventually starts holding dirt and grime.

Where I ride, in Arizona, most of my riding is in dry conditions with very fine dust. I used this lubricant and got about 3000 miles out of a chain last season. I was pretty religious about cleaning and re-lubing the chain between rides however. So if you want to lubricate and forget you might choose a Teflon lube instead.

    Pros
Definitely repels dust and dirt. I think it can extend chain life if used frequently.

    Cons
Frequent re-application is necessary. Does not inhibit rust.

This stuff does not stay on the chain long enough to make it worthwhile. My general ride is about 20 miles, 12 road miles round trip to the trail and about 8 or so on the trail. By the time I am heading home, my chain is crying. I was trying to be environmentally friendly but this is not the solution. Next...

    Pros
Works great for a mile or two.

    Cons
Works great for a mile or two.

A good lube that does what it claims.

    Pros
    Easy to use,
    Doesn't attract muck,
    Fairly cheap,

    Cons
End up putting it everywhere as it is quite free flowing. Needs frequent re-application.

This lube is perfect for shedding grit and grime and keeping your chain nice and clean. However, it definitely wears out very quickly and you constantly need to be reapplying it, (like before every ride). If you're willing to go through all of that work though, it's worth it. (And despite the constant application, you won't break the bank because it is reasonably affordable.)

    Pros
Doesn't attract grime, works well. Cheap.

    Cons
    Doesn't last for very long

Keeps your drivetrain clean which helps it last longer. Just reapply after every ride.

    Pros
    Clean, doesn't attract dirt

    Cons
Have to reapply often. Easily gets washed off in wet conidtions

Man, I can't understand how people say this is messy. It's the easiest stuff to use. First, you need to take the chain off and completely degrease it. Let it dry and put this stuff on it. I was shocked how clean my chain was after the first ride using it. It literally repels dirt! Now it may not last forever, especially in wet conditions, but for how cheap it is...

    Pros
    Cheap, easy to use, WORKS!!!

    Cons
    Doesn't last that long.

While not my favorite chain lube, it's still a functional lube if you a looking for something with a wax base. It can gunk up the chain a bit after repeated applications without washing down your chain.

    Pros
Leaves a layer of wax on the chain to repel dirt and water. Cheap.

    Cons
A little messy if you allow it to drip off the chain. Functions best with a proper chain cleaning in between applications.

Not really worth it, it leaves a white film all over your tires/ground if you miss the chain. Also this is a dirt magnet, maybe that's the "self-cleaning", cause you yourself with be cleaning it often. Does not last long at all, I feel like you have to lube after every ride. Another reason not to get this is because it will NOT penetrate as well as other lubes do. Do yourself a favor and walk away from this headache.

    Pros
    It's a lube...

    Cons
Wax lube, extremely messy, attracts dirt.

    Good Stuff, would buy again.

    Pros
Good stuff, penetrates the rust that gets on the chain. Lubricants chain very well.

    Cons
    shake well before use
