These are great shorts; comfortable, lightweight and are well built. However the 2011 version lacked pockets. Which makes it very difficult to carry anything if you don't have a pack. I ended up cutting holes into the side so I could attach my bike park lift pass to them... which is not ideal to say in the least.

The shorts also do not contain any sort of upper leg protection but granted they aren't supposed to have any so it all works out.

Overall they're a great pair of shorts, I just wish they had pockets so I could at least carry my keys with me.

    - Rugged design and material
    - Breathable
    - Comfortable
    - Built to last

    - Hem stitching could be better
    - No pockets
    - A little heavy to wear in the dead of summer

I got these shorts in yellow, with black and blue trim. They look so sharp, and the added benefit of having a bright colored pair of shorts to wear during the fall hunting season, is a bonus as well.

Love these shorts! Found them online and ordered size 32. They fit perfectly, and are so comfortable. Durability will never be in question, they feel like they are almost made out of a denim type material. Very thick, and holds their shape, meaning they dont tighten around anything. The quality is great, even the snaps and zippers seem heavier and sturdier. The length of these shorts are great, they do not interfere with my knee pads even when pedaling in a cross country type manner.

The only downside to these shorts is no functional pocket! There is a small waistband type pocket in the back, but I have no clue what would fit in there. A suggestion to make these shorts the absolute best would be to put a zippered deep side pocket on the shorts to hold maybe a phone, tool, etc. The sturdiness of the shorts make them somewhat heavy for those that mind the heat during the summer months. I like it hot, so I dont mind them at all.

Good shorts overall. They are tough shorts. Well built and comfortable. Great front ventilation. These are ideal for downhill riding, and work well for general trail riding. They will last forever. Got them for $50. Their only draw back is that they have no pockets so it takes away from carrying anything.

Good ventilation. Comfortable. Look great. Very durable.

    No pockets
