Comparing to Time Atack Alium, these pedals are lighter. Other then looks and weight, didn't see any difference. Still the same reliable Time pedals that serve me a year already in any weather. I like its self-cleaning design. Easy on/off, 3-level spring tension.
    Great pedals.

    Pros
    Light, durable, easy on/off

    Cons
    Price

These pedals are perfect for me as well as any XC rider. Beginners can get out quickly and can hear the "click" to assure them that they are locked on. For as much as they don't unlock your foot while riding, they unlock as you fall about 90% of the time which I have found to be rather awesome.

    Pros
Cleans well, durable, click loudly, float is great

    Cons
Scratches a little easy, brass clips

These are a little more expensive than other clipless pedals, but worth every penny.

These pedals are very forgiving for those that are just learning to ride clippless. The shape of the pedal allows you to keep pedaling until you get clipped in. And there is a quiet "pop" that you feel and hear to let you know that you're clipped in correctly. And getting out of them is very easy with a little practice (I recommend practicing in a big grassy area instead of on technical singletrack). Overall a great pedal.

    Pros
This pedal provides excellent tactile feedback once you're clipped in correctly.

I've ridden various Shimano and Eggbeater pedals. These are significantly better.

    Pros
Snap in is quick and clean. Extremely durable, I bang these all the time and used to destroy other pedals. Great float, light.

    Cons
Three point adjustable tension, I've had them for 18 months and am now on the tightest setting.

This is a durable pedal set that's perfect for all XC riders.

    Pros
Smooth action, simple set-up, and solid performance. Mud clearing is great and the large platform is ultra-comfortable even on epic slogs. Wide float is an absolute treat.

    Cons
Pedal body scratches easily. A little spendy.
