Overall tough, these have been great brakes. I have never worried about not being able to stop on a down slope.

    Pros
    Good grip and stopping power.

    Cons
As everyone else has said, they front tends to squeak quite a bit.

This brake set was original equipment on my 2012 Scott Scale Comp 29. They worked well for a bargain brake. Over time they began to squeal. Every winter they need to be bled and pads replaced. I think (IMHO) that the seals on the calipers do not like the sub freezing temperatures. They also seem to have problems when the bike is turned upside down. When bike is turned upright, there will be a lot of lever travel before brakes will engage.

    Pros
Great Value. They server their purpose... stopping a bicycle.

    Cons
Have to be bled frequently. Very squeaky!

Great brakes, very few draw backs

    Pros
Great value. Always on point and powerful. Always working fine in mud, water, and snow.

    Cons
Weak lever, has broken in the past due to a tree collision. Frequent squeaking.

    Pros
Great brakes, stop on demand everytime no matter the wettest conditions

    Cons
They tend to start squealing if you take the front wheel on and off alot.
