I totally recommend getting these tires if you need a real aggressive front tire to bash around on trails. On their website, Specialized says its mud clearance isn't great, but I found though mud can pack up on the tire, they just eat all the mud and grip anyways. No complaints here. get this tire.

fast rolling for a DH tire, awesomely grippy in everything but UK level mud, tough sidewalls and knobs

Not as fast rolling as some tires. Wouldn't be my first choice for a trail/all mountain rear tire. Great for DH.

I'm riding the 26/2.3 control/2bliss version which is much lighter than the full downhill version. It's been plenty of tire for the front range of colorado - no cut sidewalls, and no issues running tubeless. It's performed well in the light downhilling I've done, and the treadlife has been very good.

    Great traction. Tough tire.

A bit on the heavy side.

This is my favorite DH tire as it provides great traction in any condition and seems to be bullet proof.

    -Super strong sidewalls
    -Burly tread
    -Traction in any conditions
    -Looks like a moto tire
