    I bought this to switch to a double crankset from a triple and it works exactly as it should. Great for the price.

    Front derailuers tend to pretty similair in function, this one in particualr has been very reliable and hassle free.

    - easy install and set up
    - does not require a lot of tinkering and adjusting
    - has been very reliable

    if you have to up grade this is a good choice for a $$$, went from 3 disc to a 2 disc with no problems

    On some full suspension frames this is the only type of derailleur that will fit.
    On this model, the weight is decent as compared to the MUCH more expensive XTR, shifting is crisp and the dual pull setup is very convenient, as are the included shims that fit multiple seat post diameters.

    shifts smoothly
    Fits my particular frame style where a bottom swing won't fit
    dual pull is convenient

    Cons
    body is a little wide, front - back, can potentially hit my frame if I bottom out the supension, which hasn't happened yet

    This works great for anyone who rides. Very little play in the unit so once you have it set up this works flawless.

    shifts crisply, very little noise when set up correctly, shimano has many models to suit every bike out there
