I have this on my main bike along with Deore rear. I like the set up even though I do have to dismount on a climb once in a while due to chain suck dropping down to granny.

    Pros
    - its reliable
    - its tough
    - it stays tuned and I rarely have to tinker with it.

    Cons
    - chain suck issues
    - needs to be feathered from time to time
    - collects a lot of mud and pine needles

It does its job and doesn't cost a whole lot. Not the cleanest front shifter but for it's price range, it's not the worst either.

    Pros
    -Cheap
    -Shifts well

    Cons
    -Heavy
-Some chain suck issues here and there due to cable stretch and improper alignment

You get what you pay for. This came stock on my hardtail and was very finicky. There was no reason why it would not stay tuned. It didn't break, but it just wouldn't hold its settings.

    Pros
    shifts, durable

    Cons
    heavy, not precise
