Lock on grips held tight. The design looks cool. After a few uses, the grips reminded me of grabbing a melted gummy bear. The stickiness might please others, but felt disgusting to me.

    Pros
Light weight, multiple colors to give that custom look

    Cons
    Turned gooey after one summer.

I run Race Face Sniper Lock On grips on all of my bikes. I love the feeling of them and find the very comfortable whether I'm dirt jumping, ripping DH trails or on an epic all mountain ride.

The thin profile of the grips are a great fit for my 'medium' sized hands.

I love the way these grips look and wished that Race Face would make their other grips look as good as these ones.

My only gripe about the Snipers is that the lock on rings are hard to get on the grip when you're first getting things setup. I guess they're tough for a reason - no one wants play in their grips.

There isn't anything absolutely amazing about the Snipers that make them that much better than other lock on grips, so if you can get a deal or if you want to try a different set of grips out I would recommend taking a look at the Snipers.

    Pros
    - Lock On and don't move
    - Comfortable
    - Thin profile
    - Reduce minor vibration
    - Wear slowly
    - Available in a large variety of colors

    Cons
    - Lock On system can be difficult to snap onto the grips during initial install
