Finally Race Face has produced a crankset that's finish doesn't wear off after a couple of rides. I have yet to see any wear on either of my sets of White Respond cranks. No scratches, shoe rub or even chips can be seen.

The only downsides that I see are just to the design and more a wishes than anything else. It would be nice if they were X-Type just for the ease of access (i.e. not having to use a crank puller).

Aside from that they're a great crankset for a descent price.

    - Stiff
    - Light
    - Price right
    - Excellent finish

    - Not X-Type
    - Stripped multiple crank bolts

I'm new at this sport, but this crankset is no comparison to the shimano setup that came on my bike. ditched the 3 chainrign setup in favor of 2 & a bashguard. Picked this crankset after reading the review right here on singletracks. Now, I dont have any other cranksets besides the shimano to compare this too, but it feels way smoother, way faster, and way more durable than the creaky old shimano setup with square tapered bottom bracket. excellent setup and excellent price point!

New design and great graphics on this crank add to the value of the Respond crankset. I use this crank on my FH/DH bike and have no problems with it.

Stiff and strong with many options. I opted for the single ring with bash. Revised bottom bracket hasn't crapped out yet
