Park is time tested. Great tool from a great company.

    Pros
The chain is completely supported while the pin is pushed out which prevents damage. The way the entire chain sits inside the body of the tool prevents the chain from dropping from the tool

    Cons
When I went to replace the pin i dropped the sheath that holds the pin into the tool and there doesn't seem to be a consumer available replacement had to call park.

This is by far the best chain tool available in my opinion. Makes chain work easy. This tool is very well made. I consider this a garage tool. It is to big and heavy for me to carry in my pack.

I've had numerous chain tools over the years, but this is my favorite. I am not a shop mechanic, but just work on my bikes at home. This tool has served me well for years. What more to say other than you know what you're getting with Park tools. They're the Craftsman/SnapOn of the bike world.

    Best chain tool I've found

    Park brand
    Park warranty/customer service

This chain tool works. Most of the time when working on a bike I will use a masterlink of sorts to take the chain off, but when sizing a new chain this is really helpful. Even on new chains some pins are difficult to remove (especially shimano) and this tool allows you to put a little more torque down than other chain tools.

    Pros
ergonomic handles, replaceable pins, well built

    Cons
    none

Get it for a shop tool that won't break anytime soon.

    Pros
Replaceable pins! Large handle makes it easy to put down a lot of torque for those tough to push pins.

    Cons
    Expensive.
