Since I installed this in the beginning of winter after a big melt, which prompted me to actually buy it, I have only gone thru one small puddle in the back alley as everything else is still frozen. It seems like it may do the job but a true test of it by me stills needs to be done until I fully commit to rating the Mucky Nutz
