Save your money, buy a cheap headband or have a couple of caps on hand.
Pros Is a comfortable headband
Cons Works until it fills with sweat, then starts dripping exactly the same as a cycling cap or other headband.
Plastic strip does not divert sweat away from eyes, nor can it.
It's a decent sweat band and does the job. Maybe for someone who sweats a lot this is necessary. But I'm not a huge sweater when I ride and thinner sweatbands seem to work just as well while being more comfortable. Also this doesn't dry quickly.
Cons Allows sweat to drip into your eyes. It's a sweatband, it gets saturated after a bit and acts just like any sweatband. With that said works 100% better than a regular cloth band.
I keep 3 of these on me, 1 on my head and 2 clipped on the outside of my pack. After it gets saturated, I wring it out and alternate it with one of the dry ones on my pack, works great.
Pros comfortable, stylish, dries quickly, keeps sweat out of your face and eyes
I don't go on the bike without it, especially on my triathlon bike. It is a huge problem with sweat in the eyes when your down in the aero position and the sweat just flows into your eyes.
Pros Keeps sweat out of my eyes!
Fits under helmet
KEEPS SWEAT OUT OF MY EYES!
Cons Sometimes I get a head ache from it, but I have a big melon!
My husbands head sweats a lot as he bikes.... you know... dripping in his eyes. The halo band literally stops that. He has had me ordered three or four for him as well as about another half dozen for fellow riders in our town.
Pros stops sweat
stays in position
great color choices
washes well
This product does exactly what it says it will do, keep the sweat out of your eyes. It will still allow some sweat to roll out from under your helmet, just less than normal. The sweat channel is supposed to move sweat to the zone outside of your eyes and it does just that. If that sweat band isn't perfectly centered though, you may start getting sweat on one side. I have a pretty wide forehead i guess so it was a big deal for me. Definitely a must have for humid climates.
Pros Soaks up sweat.
Cons Sweat barrier may be a bit too narrow for wider heads.
A must for keeping the sweat out of the eyes. Light, comfortable, unobtrusive and keeps all the sweat out of your eyes and face. Simple but very effective design still lets the head breathe on hot days. I never ride without one anymore.
