ProsMust have. Many flavors
Prostastes good, good portion in each packet.
If you like the taste of brownie batter, these are for you. They taste great if you stick them in the fridge.
Texture is good
ConsWould be amazing if the packaging were biodegrable
ProsGREAT TASTING! Seriously, this flavor is almost like eating chocolate icing from a cake. The packets of these energy gels are very convenient, you can put them in a bag and take them anywhere.
ConsThe wrapping has to be disposed of properly, so remember to carry a plastic baggie in your gear bag, so your gear does not get messed up from the empty wrapping.
Great way to carry extra calories for thos epic rides. The Choclate Outrage tast great.
Simple to carry calories
This is my wife's fave, I prefer vanilla bean.
It is so chocolaty that the kids will eat it.
I usually down one of these or something similar before riding home form work. On the trail and in races I use Hammer Gel.
ProsTastes like Hersheys Syrup
Good, fast energy boost.
ConsSticky, messy wrapper after eating it.
my go to for enery before any large ride
Prosgreat taste and excellent energy soarce. easy to carry
One of the best tasting AND performing gels I've had.
ProsActually tastes like chocolate pudding.
These are great to throw in your hydration pack for a long ride just in case. I like that they have caffeine, some flavors don't. Little messy but not a big deal. Just don't throw your used up package on the trail hun!
ProsQuick and easy, small, tastes OK, oh and the caffeine!
Helped me pass a run test morning after a few too many...I am a believer.
ProsTaste, quick energy.
You can't go wrong with the chocolate flavor. The caffeine, electrolites, and carbs are perfect for keeping you from hitting a wall. Definitely sip water while you eat this because the stickiness can be overwhelming if you're breathing hard.
ProsThe flavor and the caffeine.
ProsEasy to carry and use when on the go.
