I'm not a huge fan of unitaskers. Tools and other things that have only one specific purpose in life. And while some of the bike specific chain lubes COULD be used for other purposes, I know this product CAN be used all over the place.
I've used it on my motorcycle, pit bike, garage door parts and pieces, and a host of other moving parts that need periodic lubrication. A great product and it can be found just about anywhere.
Pros Not a unitasker, can be used all around the garage and house
Keeps chains working near perfectly
Costs less than specific chain lubes
This is the same stuff you pay 6 times as much for in the bike shop. I use it everywhere, its so cheap you never double think applying enough lube.
