Great pack that I bought for commuting but has done much more (and many more miles) than that. The ability to organise a bit more, e.g. a bit more thought in terms of separating the main compartment, would make this pretty faultless

Very breathable, built-in hi-vis rain cover and helmet storage, can be expanded to increase volume (slightly).

Not many pocket; doesn't come with a bladder included

Best hydration pack I've owned thus far. Have owned for over one year without issues. Can carry everything I need for long trail rides and also use it hiking with the family (guess who gets stuck with hauling everyone else's snacks and water bottles?). Convenient helmet storage, expandable main storage and rain cover. Reflective strip on back will accept clip on lights for extra visibility.

Reservoir is very easy to fill with the entire top open for convenience and easy cleaning. Hydration tube clips onto reservoir and easily removed for cleaning. No leaks thus far and no dripping at bite valve! In the year I've owned it, absolutely no mold in reservoir or tube, with very little cleaning...

    Drink valve
    3.0 liter fluid capacity
    Rain cover
    Helmet storage
    Easy fill reservoir
    Quick clip Removable drinking tube
    Back is well ventilated

    None so far

Fantastic for racing or packing as long as you don't need to fit anything big

Lots of room for bladder, pretty breathable and 2x support straps keep it stable; the rain cover was an added bonus

Zippers started failing pretty quickly once I tried to put in more than just a few packable things

This replaced the Deuter Race Air Lite I have been using since 2010, as I needed a bit more space. I certainly got that with the Race EXP Air. There is plenty of room for a spare tube, pump, first aid kit, saw, and tools. Plus a 3L bag & food. I've worn it on 30 mile rides & it's very comfortable. Plus Deuter makes excellent hydration packs, if you happen to order one with the bag.

    Lots of room.
    Comfortable to wear.
    Rain cover.

Pockets for organizing contents of the bag could have been better thought out.
