Not a bad pack to own.
ProsGood bag cool colors
Buy this, and be prepared to trim the straps once you dial in the fit.
Not needed for sub 3hr rides.
ProsCarrys all you need for a 5 hour ride, including 3L of water.
Bladder system has separate access, is easy to clean and no taste.
ConsI'm a bigger rider (235lbs) and have a broad chest but there are lots of strap left over. Sounds like a positive, but for a guy (or gal) who is closer to 190 there will be lots of dangling straps to contend with.
Just try this pack on, it's the most comfortable I have ever used. The mesh back keeps your back as sweet free as anything out there.
ProsWell built, ventilation, frame holds shape when packed with gear, comfortable even when packed heavy
ConsDon't have some of the bells and whistles (a tool organizer would be sweet to have)
This has been a great pack. It is comfortable whether empty or fully loaded. The internal organizing pockets are well thought out, and the bladder design is excellent. There is no plastic taste, but the stock valve is a little weak on flow. I replaced that with an extra camelbak valve I had on hand and it works much better.
Very organized interior.
Pump sleeve and two electronics pockets.
Helmet and Pad storage.
Baffle in the water bladder
ConsValve has low flow.
This pack took all my stuff and still had room for more. All the pockets are well placed and useful. The straps rock and the materials are top notch.
ProsLots of room, pack is very well constructed, Nalgene Bladder has NO TASTE
ConsDrink tube is just a hair short
