The main thing is they look cool. Who cares about performance? They are blue, my bike is blue, done.

But on a more serious note, I haven't owned these very long but so far I'm really liking them. I have a helluva time getting clipped in sometimes, as I'm new to the whole clipless pedals thing, but once clipped in they provide a great platform for pedaling. Whether I'm in or out of the saddle I feel like my feet are locked in and maybe it's just a mental thing but I honestly feel like I have more power.

    Cons
From what I've read they aren't very durable but I've only owned mine for 3 weeks so obviously don't know about that yet. And they're a bitch to get clipped into at times. Sometimes i hop on the bike and I clip right in, other times it takes a full minute to get my right foot clipped... left one seems much easier. But I may just have things adjusted wrong. I'll update once I've had them longer and am more used to them.

These pedals need some TLC or you will be rebuilding them often. I learned this first hand as they were my first pair of Crank Brothers pedals. The brass cleats do not last if you walk on them often.

    Pros
Bearings spin effortlessly. Float prevents knee strain

    Cons
Need to be rebuilt frequently. Cleats wear quickly.

I got these as a replacement for my old eggbeater sl's that had finally worn out. EB were out of stock so I got these. They don't clip in as easily as EB, but clipping out is the same. Overall they are comfortable, and the little extra platform is noticeable on longer rides.

    Pros
    Comfortable for long rides
    Durable
    Float

    Cons
Not as easy to clip into as eggbeaters
