I have tried most cliff branded products and this one is no exception. You can find these pretty cheap at Walmart and even some gas stations. I never leave home without them

    Pros
    Readily available
    Taste

    Cons
    None

WIth all nutrition bars, it's a matter of taste. I love the Clif bars, but just don't like chocolate too much, so I tend to go to other flavors. But, the only bars I eat pre-ride are Clif. They're available everywhere. I get mine on sale at Kroger for $1 ea.

    Pros
    Love Clif bars.
    Great ingredients.

    Cons
    I don't like chocolate

Clif Bars are a great snack on my way to a ride after work when I'm hungry. They are very easy to pack for trail snack. I usually have a Cliff Bar or a Kashi Bar in my Camelbak along with jolly rancher candies.

    Pros
    - filling as are all the Clif Bars
    - small and easy to pack
    - light
    - like twinkies as they stay for a long time.
    - a variety of flavors

    Cons
    - not a big fan of the brownie

My 2nd favorite flavor Clif bar. On warm days, I'll leave one of these on my dash and it'll heat up and turn into a BANGIN dessert to enjoy with a beer when I return from my ride.

    Pros
-Healthy calories for energy to ride
    -Cheap if purchased in bulk
    -Tastes great...like a healthy dessert

    Cons
-If you're riding with a bar in your pack and it's cold out, it will hardent up a bit.

Clif bars are a great choice for the trail but not the choclate brownie bar in particular

    Pros
easy to pack and an energizing snack!

    Cons
leaves your mouth dry need water near by if you have it out on the trail. One of my least favorit Clif bar flavors in my opinnion it does not go down easy.

If you love chocolate favor you might like the clif brownie bar. These things are dry, so have something to drink ready. There are better tasting bars out there, but these easily get the job done.

    Pros
Inexpensive, full of energy, easy to pack

    Cons
    taste, dry

Darn near choked myself on a recent 25 mile ride. Stopped to eat one of these and hopped back on the saddle with the last bite in my mouth. 100' down the trail and I'm still attempting to down the last bite. Had to unclip, stop, keep chewing for another 30 seconds, grab a good couple pulls from the camelbak and THEN I was able to swallow everything.

I love Cliff bars. They don't freeze nearly as bad as the original Powerbars used to. And more importantly, they taste good.

    Pros
    Tastes good
Good source of energy in a small package
Easily fits in most hydration packs
Fits in pockets of shorts, too

    Cons
Definitely need to have water handy when eating these, do not attempt to ride and chew at the same time. It isn't pretty.

Difficult to eat while exerting any type of energy. Not easy to eat while on the bike. Otherwise it tastes good and does the job that it is meant for. If you are on a really long ride, opt for this one earlier in the ride if you have different kinds of clif bars with you

    Pros
Very chocolatey flavor, taste, protein and sodium

    Cons
As Jared pointed out, this is very dense and hard to chew

I would recommend the Clif Chocolate Brownie bar.

    Pros
This flavor is similar in taste to an actual brownie, just not as moist. Probably best tasting Clif Bar in my opinion. Definitely helpful to have with a fluid of your choice, since it does seem to be a bit dryer than the other flavors. Organic natural ingredients are a big draw to this product for sure.

This bar will give you the nutrients and calories you need on the trail/road but the taste and consistency leaves something to be desired. The bar seems very dense compared to other Clif bars. This made it tougher to get down. However, from a performance standpoint it did what I needed it to do. I'd recommend trying one and seeing if you like the taste before writing them off.

    Pros
    Ok taste
    Easy to transport

    Cons
    Very dense
