Great pack for rides 2-5 hrs. Enough storage for tools and extra tube. 3L bladder. Very durable pack.
Pros Light weight.
Enough storage for all but the longest rides.
Durable.
Cons Keeping a spare tube in the bottom causes the bladder to pop up at the top. Not an issue if you use less than 2L (most rides). But for a little long trip, it is annoying when packing.
I really recommend this CamelBak if you are a XC or trail rider. Though it may not have a ton of space it will hold the essentials if you are looking for something a bit bigger but not to expensive then check out the MULE great pack. Nice color choices Camelbak!!
Pros Lightweight
Lots of water
Cheaper
Bike organizer pocket
Pros Holds plenty of water 100oz/3L. Holds all my necessary items that I need, like my spare tube, multi use tool, I-phone, power bars, cartridge tire pump and 4 cartridges, spare derailleur bracket and power link.
I like this pack a lot. its the perfect size to allow me to carry everything I want to carry efficiently. It also does not allow me to over pack and weight myself down.
On the hot days the air flow cooling system helps to keep my back cool unlike my old rogue which would stick to my back at times..
It's been durable so far and I use it on a regular basis.
Pros - good capacity for a full day of riding
- good capacity for weight, not too much to make it too heavy
- not big enough to over fill and kill yerself carrying things you didn't need after all.
- comfortable
- the air flow system on the back is great in the summer months!
Cons - there are really not a lot of options for strapping things to the back of it like my rogue has with the bungee system.
- pockets are too small to carry any layers of clothing... windbreaker or fleece lets say.
This is my first hydration pack that I've used. It's been working great, and wouldn't be with out one. I may end up getting some thing with more sundries storage, for when I need that, but then I'm a bit of a pack rat.
Pros ample 100 oz H2O, compact, good fill, good tube and bite valve
Cons small storage space depending on what your doing.
Buy this if you ride for 2-3 hours. Oh and remember to clean it after every ride!
Pros Love the build and quality of the pack. Looks great and holds plenty of water and gear for how small it is. never moves on my back and can hardly feel it.
