I've been using this bag for over a year and have very little to gripe about. It's been very durable and carries enough for any day trip I've gaf so far.
Pros Great versatility and lots of space. Two zipped compartments for storage. Enough for a good day on the trail. Enough water for a 3-4?hour hike or bike ride.
Cons A bit cumbersome to put the hydration pouch back into the bag after cleaning/drying it.
Overall, a great hydration pack from the masters, CamelBak. The Blowfish is highly recommended.
Pros Way more comfortable, better looking, and holds more stuff, more securely than my old, 1st generation Mule. Also, the vent back feature is outstanding. The expansion capability will be a big factor in the colder months when I shed layers as the day warms.
Cons It might hold too much (is that a bad thing?). I find I am tempted to carry more items than I would have with my old Mule.
I have owned this pack for several years. It has really served me well. I have used it for epic rides, hiking, xc skiing, downhill skiing. I just purchased a new one this year. Has some nice new features like velcro to secure the excess shoulder strap. More internal pockets and an internal pump holder. Better padded back and increased access to the bladder. You just can't go wrong with this pack.
Pros Holds lots of stuff and loads of water. Expandable and versatile. Good for epic trips.
This is a great pack. 100oz plus plenty of space for maps, guide books, camera, and chow. Zippered compartment lies flat when you don't need it and expands when you do, so it's like having 2 packs in one. If you've got a water filter, there's room for one and you can ride as far as your energy bars will carry you!
Pros Super storage space--adjustable/expandable.
Durable. Light and unobtrusive for having so much capacity.
Buy, worth every penny
