Came factory on my 2016 Trek X Caliber 9. I have had no problems other than the finish wears quickly.

    Pros
    Durable.
    Does its job.

    Cons
    Finish does not last.

    Reviewing SSR Mountain Shoes:
    ****

These are my first mountainbike shoes. They have held up well. You can add a clip to them. If you ride flats with studs, go with a flatter sole.

    Pros
Reasonable price. Not bad if you have to walk. Price is decent.

    Cons
Do not stick well to studs on flat pedals.

A lightweight aluminum post that looks great and does a good job at staying put and not sliding down any.

    Pros
    Lightweight
    looks good
    aluminum won't rust

    Cons
Thin coat of paint is prone to scratching

This saddle scratches easily and hurts the taint! Also, it is made out of a soft foam which is great for short distance comfort but you will pay for it one the longer rides. Since it has so much foam, if it gets wet, it will stay wet for the rest of the day.

    Pros
    Soft foam
    Looks cool
    Light enough

    Cons
    Foam.....
    Hurts the taint!!
    Easily damaged

Came stock on a Trek 3700. This is a spare bike I inherited so I am in rush to change them but plan to. They are hard and uncomfortable. I am very partial to Ergon grips however and might be biased.

Contact points are all about person preference though and if this is your style grip they seem like they would be pretty durable, but still not a lot of gripping power.

    Pros
    - seem durable
    - inexpensive to replace

    Cons
    - hard
    - very little gripping power

These grips slip around while riding are are quite uncomfortable for trail riding. I would suggest a different pair, or replacing when given the first opportunity.

    Pros
    Grip

    Cons
    Hard compound
    slips around

It's a good OEM seat post that has held up to many years of abuse.

    Pros
-It has done its job for 3 years and hasn't broken

    Cons
-The single bolt seat rail clamp is dumb but and can be difficult to tighten
    -Doesn't look like anything special

I do not like the single center bolt adjuster on seat posts. It doesn't allow one to dial in the seat angle as precisely as the dual bolt front and back. Came stock on the Trek 3700

    Pros
    - inexpensive
    - it's not a brick

    Cons
it has the horrible single bolt adjuster.

This saddle came stock on my Trek 3700 hardtail. I do not like it, mostly because it is sooo wide at the back end. I prefer a narrow saddle that I can move around on more for differant riding positions. Probably wont stay on the bike long.

    Pros
    - Durable
    - looks nice
    - its got a wide rear section if you like wide saddles

    Cons
    - It is a very wide Saddle
    - Deemed the nut cracker

Great shoe, you can still use it to hike with the treads.

    Pros
Lightweight, comfortable, easy to setup the cleats, velcro keeps the laces out of the way.

    Cons
    None so far
