I picked one of these up when the Super 3R came out, got the blue model for what I thought was a great deal ($90). I really like how it fits, you don't even notice it. Ventilation is good, but I still get a bit hot in the summer. Not a knock on the helmet as I believe it would be hot wearing anything when it is 90 .

The 3R is supposed to be improved fit and comfort, so if you're in the market for that helmet you should be pretty happy.

    Pros
Comfortable, Lightweight, Great MIPS protection, GoPro mount

    Cons
    Price

Really like this lid (upgrade from a Fox Flux). Comfortable with thick pads that are replaceable. Comes with a helmet mount for a GoPro or Light. Can also be used as a full face with optional chin guard. Excellent value for the $$.

    Pros
Comfortable, nice colors, cool visor, replaceable pads, helmet mount, MIPS

    Cons
    Slightly heavy

After riding with a Fox Flux helmet for several years I upgraded to the Bell S2. I like the fit/feel much better as the inner cushions are far superior to the Flux. I also prefer to have the MIPS technology... cause you never know. The fact that it comes with a detachable camera/light attachment is a huge plus.

    Pros
Light weight, Nice comfortable fit, Comes with camera/headlight mount

Great helmet for those who rides "regular" trails most of the time and sometimes wanna do downhill. Helmet is good looking, well ventilated, adjustable and comfortable. And, almost forgot, it's not heavy, so you can wear it on your all-day epic ride.

    Versatility, good fit

When i first put it on it felt weird. There are 2 pads at roughly 3 and 9 o'clock in the helmet that make it feel different, like its floating on your head. Within 15 min of wearing I didn't even notice.

    Pros
    Mips, Light, Well vented

    Cons
feels a little strange at first

I recommend this helmet to anyone that is biking frequently, it is light weight, and there is a gopro mount that comes with it to capture your adventure.

    Pros
This helmet is very comfortable, and fairly light weight for it's size. It also is so cool that you can make it a full face.

    Cons
It can be a bit bulky at times

Awesome.Found my small size on sale for$70.

    Pros
Great protection for AM,Enduro and XC. MIPS,Dial in the perfect fit. Stays in place on fast descents.Great visor, push up for steep climbs for better view, down for sun, debris protection.
Purchased a small had to move temporal pads to rear of helmet, now fits perfect. Fit may require different eye protection. I switched from Oakleys to Zteks .Also like the ICE dot for Emergency info.

I love this helmet. It is extremely versatile to match your riding conditions. It is lightweight and breathable, with plenty of vents. Removable face guard adds to the versatility. I haven't figured out how to put the faceguard on without removing the helmet. Just a great helmet. Worth the $200 price tag just for the peace of mind.

    Pros
    Versatile. Lightweight. Breathable.

    Cons
Must remove helmet to install face guard. Price.

I wear 7-1/4 inch size hats. I have the Large Super 2 helmet. It is a little big without a headband or helmet liner underneath. The medium would probably be a better fit, but the retailer did not have it in stock. Thanks for the link to putting on the chin guard.

Check this excellent video on how to attach/remove the chin bar. http://www.jensonusa.com/Bell-Super-2R-Helmet-2015. I'm looking for the fit chart for this model which along with chin bar video does not appear on Bell product page.

For normal mountain biking with some downhill fun I feel that this is the way to go. During my crash the face bar stayed in place. When I'm climbing I can take it off and attach it to my pack. Win win in my book.

    Pros
I walked away from the crash!
Practicing for an enduro race I crashed hard on a high speed downhill section. I landed hard on my head and this helmet saved my ass! I wasn't sure if the chin bar would stay intact, but it did. I bought the model with the MIPS system and I'm so glad I did. This helmet has good airflow in full face configuration.

    Cons
The sides put pressure on the top of my ears. I'm sure this is due to the shape of my head. I've gotten used to it and don't even notice it anymore.

I honestly really like this helmet. Great rear protection. It's a little heavy compared to other helmets and is a little warmer compared to other helmets, which is why I gave it 4 stars. That said, for my purposes and type of protection I'm looking for it's perfect for me :)

    Pros
Max protection in non-full face helmet
    Comfortable
    GoPro mount
    Fashionable

    Cons
    Heavy(er)
    Warm(ish)

I love this helmet! After walking more trail than I have wanted on a few trips I decided this might be the ticket to more time on the bike. Keep in mind I have horrible health insurance and would glue myself back together before I went in for stitches, and the fact that every week I have to preach and investing in this just made sense. It protects my face enough to allow me to play hard without as much risk of injuring myself in a way that would remove me from fulfilling my responsibilities. It is light and breathable and adds the protection I need when going above and beyond my skill level. Great helmet.

    Pros
great protection, light, breathable, easy to put chin bar on and take off

    cost
