I've ridden more expensive flats with thinner profiles, concave shapes to hold your feet, and much lighter overall weights. These pedals wont win any beauty pageants and certainly are a little bit of an old design but they STILL get the job done. If you want to give flats a try without breaking the bank, you should give these a shot.
Pros Heavy duty pedal body. Easily maintained with a little grease and a few wrenches. Wide base for bigger shoes. The replaceable pins come in handy. Decent shoe grip.
Cons HEAVY! Not very thin causing more frequent rock strikes.
