Pros: cheap and easy to use.

Cons: none that I have found.

Recommendation: This is a must-have for all riders. It is has been spot-on with my LBS' chain-wear indicators.

Recommendation: Worth having if you ride more than once a week. Replacing your chain on time can lengthen the life of your drive train significantly. It will also save you the frustration of poor shifting.

Pros: Solid construction, easy to use, easy to clean, does exactly what it is designed to do.

Cons: NONE !

Recommendation: This tool is a must if you plan to do a lot of riding and want a healthy drivetrain. A worn out chain can break or strip the teeth on your cogs leaving you stranded on the trail.
