Pros: Works
Build quality

Cons: Can be complicated

Recommendation: When using this tool, be sure to use tons of grease on the thread to prevent it from stripping them out. Just tighten the big threads into the crank arm. Be sure to really tighten it down. Then just start running the push bolt and it should extract the crank arm from the square taper. Not compatible with ISIS bottom brackets!

Pros: - easy to clean and maintain
- strong tool you can have confidence in.
- usable on all modern cranks.

Cons: - no instructions so you have to know how to use it. Youtube I'm sure.

Recommendation: I have used this tool to remove many different cranks. It has shown no signs of stripping ot stress on either the hex threads or the bolt threads.
