Model/Year: 2018

Pros: Good grip

Cons: Sidewall "roll" feeling when cornering at 26-28 psi. Would prefer more predicability before they break loose in corners. More agressive side tread would be a plus.

Recommendation: These are good trail bike tires. They seem to offer plenty of traction in most instances. All in all, I am fairly happy with these.

Model/Year: 2015 26 2.3

Pros: Solid AM tire with a good balance between weight and a solid carcass. Handles aggressively, but predictably. Shoulder knobs hook up well in corners and are firm. Wears well.

Cons: none.

Recommendation: I love it as a front tire. It should be noted that there is a huge difference in sidewall stability between the "Grid" casing and the "Control" casing (pictured). The Control casing is not stable enough and will tend to roll when pressed hard. The Grid seems to have none of that. I ride tubeless with pressure in the low 20s in front. My riding weight is about 180lbs.
