Wide pressure range, good to use for a rear tire, easy to seat on the rim(for quick tube changes), good rear tire control-noticed less bouncing in downhill chop even at high pressures, wide tread pattern sheds light soil/mud, 1.95"=450g / 2.1"=520g / 2.25"=590g
Knobs tear and get shredded
Wear - Wear - Wear these tires wear quickly...while they are inexpensive I can't say they are a good "Value Seeker" tire because they last about a 1/3 of other tires I've used.
The Mibro is a good rear tire option which I coupled with an IRC Mythos in the front. I was able to run higher pressures of 40+, the tire still remained grippy and handled even eroded downhills well. I didn't experience spin-outs in slick areas or roots/rocks - where I have before with even more aggressive tires. This may be the "Hybrid Tread Compound" - I noticed after some riding that there were dime-sized patches on the centerline tire surface that were roughed up and grippy so these tires do not ride mostly on the knobs but more on the tire surface. The 1.95" and 2.1" also have a high thread count of 127 TPI. Summary: Good tire for soft clay/dirt XC riding, maybe use as a race-only tire, expect these tires to wear quickly.
